Fitmom Inspiration: KatelynC Muscles of Steel with a Heart of Gold

“I’m a 33-year mother of 2 kids under 5. I had my kids 16 months apart and never really had a chance to lose the baby weight from the first child before finding out I was pregnant again. With my second pregnancy, I decided I was going to workout throughout the pregnancy to help. Once my second was born I started my mission.

I spent the first year dedicated to cardio. The year after that I got a personal trainer and began incorporating weight training. And now in the last two years, I’ve gotten serious about body building and strength training.

The final piece for me was getting my nutrition on track. In January this year, I decided to seek professional help with nutrition. Now eating a healthy diet no fade diets or restrictions matched with cardio and 4 days of body building I have reached my desired body.

Balancing a full-time job and raising 2 kids isn’t easy but the energy I get from working out helps me keep up!”
