The Number on the Scale Doesn’t Define Who You Are

Even though the number on the scale doesn’t define who you are, we frequently struggle to stay motivated when we see them. When life is busy and things don’t go the way we want, it is easy to give up and go back to our old selves. But learning to be our own cheerleader and appreciating how much we have accomplished is one of the best ways to keep going.

See how the wonderful fitmom Tara, a Professional Makeup Artist www.tarabartistry.com, mommy of 2️‍, and NQ NPC Bikini Competitor finds her inner motivation to stay focused and reach her life and fitness goals.

“Sometimes we lose sight of why we started a journey in the first place. Or we forget how far we have come. I started my weight-loss Journey to feel better about myself, both on the inside and out. Comparing my heaviest weight of 215 on the left, to my lowest weight in the middle at 113, and now my current maintenance weight of 120. The numbers do not matter. What matters is that I am comfortable in my own skin and I have transformed my mind, not just my body.”

“Just 6 years of work. I think both Elle and I have grown and transformed in many ways. ” Source: Instagram @taraffit
